Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 426.75 points or 0.72 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 58,877.47, signifying a loss of 229.72 points or 0.39 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 1.7 per cent, power weakened by 2 per cent while auto slipped by 0.30 per cent.

Meanwhile, Dhanuka Agritech, Valiant Organics, and IIFL Securities emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring IIFL Securities, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by market forces.  

Dhanuka Agritech Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 10.82 per cent to trade at Rs 748 apiece.

Valiant Organics Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 3.8 per cent to trade at Rs 724 apiece.

IIFL Securities Ltd, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, climbed 2.87 per cent to trade at Rs 71.80 apiece. Today, the company is set to announce its results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2022.
