Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 822.22 points or 1.4 per cent.  

By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 58,414.32, signifying a loss of 359.55 points or 0.61 per cent. 

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals and power declined 0.7 per cent each while auto slipped 0.5 per cent. 

Meanwhile, Forbes & Company Ltd, Hindware Home Innovation Ltd, and Paisalo Digital Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Forbes & Company Ltd, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.   

Forbes & Company Ltd surged 5 per cent to trade at Rs 963.6 apiece. This rally comes ahead of the ex-dividend date of the company, which is tomorrow, i.e., August 24, 2022. The quantum of the dividend stands at Rs 65 per equity share, which is 650 per cent of the face value of Rs 10 per equity share.    

Hindware Home Innovation Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 2.98 per cent to trade at Rs 314.85 apiece. 

Paisalo Digital Ltd, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, climbed 2.73 per cent to trade at Rs 78.95 apiece.
