Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 67.58 points. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened to 59,434.65, signifying a gain of 617.36 points or 1.05 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 1 per cent, power strengthened by 0.5 per cent whereas auto surged 0.9 per cent.
Meanwhile, Paisalo Digital Ltd, Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, and Nava Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. All three companies are a part of S&P BSE Smallcap index.
Paisalo Digital Ltd, an NBFC company, rallied 6.56 per cent to trade at Rs 82.90 apiece. Apart from its results announcement last week, the company has made no significant announcement lately. Hence, the rally in the share price could be purely driven by the market forces.
Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, operating in the diesel engines space, surged 6.26 per cent to trade at Rs 168 apiece. This rally came on the back of robust Q1FY23 results announced by the company on Wednesday. The consolidated topline grew 45 per cent YoY while its PAT rose 154 per cent YoY.
Nava Ltd, operating in the electric utility space, climbed 5.82 per cent to trade at Rs 204.55 apiece. The company reported its Q1FY23 results on Wednesday. As per the exchange filing, the consolidated topline grew 82 per cent YoY while its PAT climbed 781 per cent YoY.
