Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 110.38 points or 0.20 per cent. At 9.20 am, it reversed the gains and was seen trading at 55,600.37, a decline of 165.85 points or 0.30 per cent.
These Small-Cap stocks gained during the pre-opening session on Tuesday:
Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 10.75 per cent to trade at Rs 1,156.35 apiece. The company is involved in the mining of low phosphorous manganese and iron ore in the Hospet- Bellary region of Karnataka.
Jindal Drilling & Industries, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, surged 4.98 per cent to trade at Rs 201.35 apiece. It is a leading Indian company in offshore drilling and allied services, including directional drilling & mud logging.
Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, climbed 5 per cent to trade at Rs 293.90 apiece. CPCL is in the business of refining crude oil to produce & supply various petroleum products along with manufacturing and selling lubricating oil additives.
