Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 1,598.93 points or 2.97 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 54,092.27, holding on to gains of 205.66 points or 0.38 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by nearly 0.2 per cent, power strengthened by 0.5 per cent, whereas auto surged almost 0.6 per cent.
Meanwhile, CARE Ratings Ltd, Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd, and RattanIndia Power Limited emerged as the top gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring CARE Ratings Ltd, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share price could purely be driven by the market forces.
CARE Ratings Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 7.86 per cent to trade at Rs 448 apiece. The rally came on the back of a buyback announcement, which was met with a positive response. As per the exchange filing, the company’s board shall consider the proposal in a meeting scheduled on July 20, 2022.
Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company surged 4.80 per cent to trade at Rs 1,094 apiece.
RattanIndia Power Limited, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, climbed 4.80 per cent to trade at Rs 4.15 apiece.
