Top three small-cap stocks that rallied in the pre-opening session today!

These Group A stocks emerged as the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

On the last trading day of the week, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green at the pre-opening bell. The index opened at the level of 53,395.54 with a gain of 376.6 points or 0.71 per cent. At 9.15 am, the index logged a decline of 330.75 points or 0.62 per cent to trade at 52,688.19.  

Sector-wise, power and utilities gained the most, whereas metals, auto & realty witnessed a significant decline.   

Meanwhile, National Fertilizers Ltd, Mangalam Cement Ltd, and Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share prices could purely be driven by market forces.     

National Fertilizers Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 8.01 per cent to trade at Rs 44.50 apiece.  

Mangalam Cement Ltd, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, surged 6.78 per cent to trade at Rs 289 apiece.
