Top three BSE 500 companies that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These BSE 500 companies were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
The markets kicked off the week on a bearish note. At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in the red with a loss of 354.18 points or 0.65 per cent. At 9.15 am, the index stood at the level of 54,216.74, a decline of 265.1 points or 0.49 per cent.
Meanwhile, on the sectoral front, banks, telecom and IT were among the losers whereas power, utilities & consumer durables were among the gainers in the pre-opening session.
Amid this, GMM Pfaudler Ltd, ITI Ltd, and KSB Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
GMM Pfaudler Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 4.58 per cent to trade at Rs 1,449 apiece. The company had made an announcement regarding the issue of bonus shares, for which, the ex-date is today.
ITI Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, surged 4.08 per cent to trade at Rs 102.10 apiece.
KSB Ltd, also from the S&P BSE 500 space, climbed 3.72 per cent to trade at Rs 1,540 apiece. This rally comes on the back of order inflows reported by the company on Saturday. As per the filing, the company received orders of around Rs 500 crore from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) for the supply of primary coolant pumps and electric motor along with spares & accessories for its Kaiga 5 & 6 Project.
