Top equity mutual funds outperforming the bear market!

During such tumultuous times, we have listed equity MFs that beat the market

Equity markets have been trading with a bearish bias, and it is necessary to adjust your portfolio at such record levels. We'll be presenting the best equity mutual funds that outperformed the market during recent market volatility in this article.

The Nifty 50 plummeted dramatically on March 7, 2022, when global financial markets came under selling pressure as crude oil prices soared to 130 dollars per barrel. Yesterday, the Nifty 50 opened with a gap down and continued to tumble. The Nifty 50 ended the session down 2.35 per cent at 15,836 levels, a seven-month low. Furthermore, it dropped the most in the last seven days yesterday.

European equities opened the trading session in the negative, as global tensions continue to rise. Furthermore, it impacted commodities markets because of the possibility of a ban on Russian oil imports, contributing to an increase in oil prices. The Nifty 50 is currently trading at the 15,700 to 15,900 support levels. These levels acted as a support yesterday, with price reversing from this band twice during the day.

Looking at the technical chart of the Nifty 50, we can see that it's been moving in a lower high and lower low trend since October 19, 2021, with two lower peaks and lower bottoms. As a result, we may be on the approach of entering a bear market. This, however, would be entirely dependent on global cues.

However, now is a perfect time to increase your equity mutual fund holdings and rebalance your portfolio. As a result, we've compiled a list of the best equities mutual funds that have outperformed the Nifty 500 Total Returns Index (TRI) from October 19, 2021.
