The year 2021 was fairly rewarding for investors, with an average return on equity mutual funds of 32.53 per cent. On average, money invested in the information technology (IT) sector funds returned 62.8 per cent. Furthermore, smallcap funds and equity funds dedicated to the infrastructure sector followed suit, with returns near 61.6 per cent and 51 per cent, respectively.
