Top 3 small-cap stocks that gained over 5 per cent today; do you own any?

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened on Thursday at 3,796.27 and made its day high at 3,813.78. It is currently trading in green with an up move by more than 0.69 per cent.   

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 5 per cent today.    

Shares of Tanla Platforms Limited were trading up by more than 8 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Wednesday at Rs 604.05 and opened on Thursday at Rs 610.55 a piece. Shares touched their day high at Rs 664.45 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 1,738.80, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 584.80. Presently, the promoters are holding a 43.73 per cent stake in the company and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 14.09 per cent and 42.16 per cent, respectively.    

Another top player today is Bharat Dynamics Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 9 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 805.00 a piece and touched its day high at Rs 873.15. The 52-week high of Bharat Dynamics Limited is at Rs 1,026, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 407.70. The promoters are holding around 74.93 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 15.64 per cent and 9.43 per cent, respectively.    

One more top gainer today which shot up by 5 per cent is Tejas Networks Limited. The stock opened at Rs 598.50 and touched its day high at Rs 638.00. On Wednesday, the shares closed at Rs 590.95 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 773, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 359.50. Currently, the promoters are holding about 56.38 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 13.99 per cent and 29.61 per cent, respectively.
