Top 3 small-cap stocks that gained over 4 per cent today; do you own any?

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened on Friday at Rs 3,917.86 and made its day high at Rs 3,922.96. 

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 4 per cent today. 

Shares of Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited were trading up by more than 4 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Thursday at Rs 138.80 and opened on Friday at Rs 138.80 a piece. Shares touched their day high at Rs 146.45 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 198.70 whereas the 52-week low is at Rs 114.65. Presently the promoters are holding a 37.84 per cent stake in the company and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 29.55 per cent and 32.61 per cent respectively. 

Another top player today is CEAT Limited, Shares were trading up by more than 4 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 1,666.00 a piece and touched its day high at Rs 1,762.85. The 52-week high of CEAT Limited is at Rs 1,981.45 whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 890.00. Promoters of the company hold 47.21 per cent and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 35.50 per cent and 17.29 per cent, respectively. 

Another top gainer today which shot up by over 4 per cent is PNC Infratech Limited. The stock opened at Rs 304.95 and touched its day high at Rs 330.90. On Thursday the shares closed at Rs 304.95 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 324.15, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 219.35. Currently, the promoters are holding about 56.07 per cent stake in the company whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 38.87 per cent and 5.06 per cent, respectively.
