TMCA selects Cigniti Technologies as strategic quality engineering partner
Cigniti Technologies, a global leader in independent quality engineering & software testing services, announced on Monday that it has now become a strategic quality engineering panel vendor for Toyota Motor Corporation Australia (TMCA). It would help accelerate its quality & digital transformation journey over the next 3 years.
Cigniti has been working with Toyota Australia since 2017. The new agreement will aid Toyota to grow its automation cadence by achieving test automation and non-functional testing goals across multiple digital platforms.
Cigniti Australia has enabled over 80 organisations from airlines, government agencies, banking & financial services, insurance, healthcare, energy & utilities, and manufacturing sectors in their software testing & quality assurance transformation journey over the past six years.
Last week, the company had reported its earnings for the quarter ended September 2020. The IT firm posted a 29 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 25 crore for the second quarter ended September 2020, mainly on account of one-time provisioning against an income tax order. The total income of the company remained almost flattish at Rs 224.12 crore during the quarter as compared to Rs 223.24 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
On Monday, the stock of Cigniti Technologies slumped 9.41 per cent to close at Rs 400.95 per share, down by Rs 41.65 per share on BSE. Its 52-week high is recorded at Rs 506 and the 52-week low is Rs 175.10 on BSE.
