Three stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the third trading session of the week in the positive territory. At 11.39 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were spotted in the green zone, surging 1.48 per cent each at 56,604.05 and 16,909.00 levels, respectively.
IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, and UltraTech Cement emerged as the top gainers of the day, which climbed 3.55 per cent, 3.40 per cent & 2.93 per cent, respectively.
