Three stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On Thursday, the domestic benchmark indices opened in the green. At 11.22 am, Sensex was trading at 59,750.24, up by 0.95 per cent while Nifty was at 17,811.05, up by 0.94 per cent.
The top three gainers of today’s session include Titan, Maruti, and Mahindra & Mahindra, which soared 8.96 per cent, 4.12 per cent & 4.10 per cent, respectively.
