Precision Wires India Ltd is engaged in manufacturing Enamelled Round and Rectangular Copper Winding Wires, Continuously Transposed Conductor, and Paper/Mica/Nomex Insulated Copper Conductors. The company primarily supplies to the OEM sector and various industries like power, auto, consumer durables, transformers, construction etc. It is the largest producer of Winding Wires in South Asia.
In Q1FY23, revenue grew by 54.98 per cent YoY to Rs 821.45 crore from Rs 530.02 crore in Q1FY22. On a sequential basis, the top line was up by 10.76 per cent. PBIDT (Ex OI) was reported at Rs 33.75 crore, up by 39.93 per cent as compared to the year-ago period which was Rs 24.12 crore. PAT was reported at Rs 16.83 crore, up by 45.36 per cent from Rs 11.58 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
On Friday afternoon at 12:46 pm, the S&P BSE SmallCap index is at 28242.96 witnessing a decline of 0.69 per cent. The shares of Precision Wires India Ltd have rallied 9.46 per cent and the scrip is trading at Rs 92.30. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 131.45 and a 52-week low of Rs 43.20.
