This PSU enterprise receives an order worth Rs 69.3 crore from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation

On December 19, 2022, NBCC (India) informed in the exchange filing that it has been awarded the work of construction of a new multistoried quarter complex consisting of 100 nos. of quarters by demolishing the existing 224 nos. quarters at Bhoinager, Bhubaneswar by Odisha Power Transmission Corporation (OPTCL) for a total value of Rs 69.3 crore (exclusive of GST).
Earlier, this month NBCC informed that it had secured total order of Rs 300.14 crore in November 2022.
NBCC is the Government of India Navratna enterprise, it is primarily engaged in the business of construction, engineering and procurement. It is a construction arm of the government of India.
Today, the stock opened at Rs 42.00, with a high and low of Rs 42.80 and Rs 41.35. The stock previously closed at Rs 41.35. Currently the stock is trading at Rs 41.75, up by 0.97 per cent.
In the last six months, the shares of the company have given more than 50 per cent returns and on a YTD basis, the stock has given about -10 per cent returns.
The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 53.65 and a 52-week low of Rs 26.70. The company has a ROCE of 23.2 per cent and an ROE of 16.2 per cent with a market capitalisation of Rs 7,515 crore.
