KEC International Ltd, a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group Company, has secured new orders of Rs. 3,023 crores across its various businesses:
1) Civil - The business has secured orders for executing infra works in India's Water Pipeline and Commercial building segments.
2) Transmission & Distribution (T&D) - The business has secured orders for T&D projects in the Americas.
3) Cables - The business has secured orders for various types of cables in India and overseas.
Today, shares of KEC International Ltd surged 9.53 per cent to an intraday high of Rs 503 per share from its previous closing of Rs 459.25. At 03:30 pm, shares of the company ended the day positive, up 2.23 per cent to Rs 485.80 per share.
KEC International Limited is a power transmission company which is involved in the design, manufacture, supply and construction of turnkey projects of power transmission lines. It is the flagship company of the RPG Group established in 1979.
Talking about the financials, the company reported positive performance in its both quarterly and annual financial statements. In Q2FY23, the company did net sales of Rs 4,064 crore and a net profit of Rs 55 crore whereas, in FY22, total net sales were Rs 13,742 crore and total net profit of Rs 332 crore respectively.
