This electronics manufacturing unveils Dual Mode Micro Inverter (DMMI): A revolutionary product for the solar power industry!

The stock gave multibagger returns of 115 per cent in 3 years and over 950 per cent in a decade.

Havells India Limited, a leading Fast Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) company, has unveiled its revolutionary product, the Dual Mode Micro Inverter (DMMI). This innovation is set to transform the solar power industry by addressing key limitations associated with traditional inverters and microinverters.

DMMI is equipped with an MPPT-based Solar Charge Controller, which efficiently converts DC current from solar panels into AC current. It is available in two models, DMMI-800 and DMMI-1600, which can seamlessly transition between ON-Grid and Off-Grid modes, catering to various grid scenarios. Both DMMI models are compatible with all types of solar module technologies.

Traditional solar inverters and microinverters are highly dependent on a reference grid voltage. In the event of a power cut, they become non-operational, wasting precious solar energy during daylight hours. Havells has addressed this issue with its patented DMMI.

DMMI functions both as an ON-Grid inverter and an Off-Grid inverter. In ON-Grid mode, it supplies power directly to loads and exports excess energy to the grid. Off-Grid mode supports connected loads without power being exported to the grid. In Off-Grid mode, DMMI also ensures anti-islanding, which prevents any power export to the grid and enables power consumption by connected loads only.

The DMMI is a game-changer in the world of solar energy. It offers a number of advantages over traditional inverters and microinverters, including:

  • Increased efficiency: DMMI's MPPT-based solar charge controller ensures maximum power generation from solar panels, even in low light conditions.
  • Enhanced reliability: DMMI can continue to operate even in the event of a power cut, thanks to its Off-Grid mode capability.
  • Greater flexibility: DMMI can be used in a variety of grid scenarios, including on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid systems.
  • Simplified installation and maintenance: DMMI is a microinverter, which means that it is installed at the module level. This simplifies the installation process and makes maintenance easier.

The DMMI is a versatile and innovative product that has the potential to revolutionize the solar power industry. It is ideal for a wide range of applications, including residential, commercial, and industrial solar systems.

On Friday, shares of Havells India Ltd surged 2.32 per cent to Rs 1,425.35 per share from its previous closing of Rs 1,392.95. The shares of the company saw a spurt in volume by more than 1.20 times on BSE.

The stock gave multibagger returns of 115 per cent in 3 years and over 950 per cent in a decade. Investors should keep an eye on this stock.
