On March 14, 2023, the RailTel Corporation informed in the exchange filing that it has received the work order from the centre for the development of advanced computing for supply, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of IT infrastructure in the green field data centre at New Delhi and Bengaluru along with training and support amounting to Rs 287.57 crore.
Earlier, the company also received a work order from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd worth Rs 27.07 crore and a comprehensive annual maintenance contract amounting to Rs 6.22 crore.
Railtel Corporation of India Ltd is engaged in the business of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure providers and is one of the largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers in India.
