Olectra Greentech showed significant upward movement today, nearly up 5 per cent from its previous day close to today's daily high. The rise in Olectra Greentech's share price was due to significant news regarding the company receiving huge orders from Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport (BEST). The order deal was worth Rs 3,675 crore for supplying 2,100 electric buses. Olectra Greentech manufactures electric buses and insulators.
Zomato is the top gainer for the day among the A group with stock return touching 18.5 per cent at one point in the day. This rally in the stock was fueled by the strong Quarterly Results. Zomato's Q4 sales number raised enormously by 75 per cent from its Q3 number from Rs 692.4 crore to Rs 1,211.8 crore. Zomato is an Indian restaurant aggregator and food delivery app.
CarTrade Tech Ltd was up 5.8 per cent on account of a partnership announcement with Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company to offer financing for used cars. The stock price reached Rs 629.6 level. CarTrade Tech is an online marketplace where both used and unused vehicles are bought and sold.
