At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 121.68 points or 0.15 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 81,710.45 signifying a loss of 55.41 points or 0.07 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals slipped by 0.1 per cent, power zoomed by 0.26 and auto soared by 0.35 per cent.
Meanwhile, S.J.S. Enterprises Ltd , Borosil Renewables Ltd and Vascon Engineers Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
S.J.S. Enterprises Ltd an S&P BSE company, surged 4.67 per cent to trade at Rs 1,343.75 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Borosil Renewables Ltd rallied 3.78 per cent to trade at Rs 532 apiece. The Ministry of Finance has announced a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of textured tempered coated and uncoated glass from China and Vietnam. This duty is aimed at curbing unfair trade practices and protecting domestic manufacturers from the impact of cheaper imports. The duty will be in effect for six months, starting December 4, and will apply to glass products that are primarily used in the solar industry.
Vascon Engineers Ltd an S&P BSE company, climbed 2.99 per cent to trade at Rs 58.59 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
