These stocks are experiencing a price volume breakout
Today markets are heading upwards. Nifty 50 opened with a gap up at 15,560 levels. In this post, we have highlighted the top stocks that are experiencing a price volume breakout.
Indian government has scrapped the tariff on gasoline exports. It also reduced windfall taxes on other fuels just three weeks after they were implemented. This came as a comfort to top crude exporter Oil & Natural Gas Corporation and top fuel exporter Reliance Industries.
Furthermore, a government statement stated that windfall taxes on diesel and aviation fuel shipments were slashed by Rs 2 per litre, while a Rs 6 per litre duty on gasoline exports was eliminated. It also decreased the tariff on locally produced crude by around 27 per cent, to Rs 17,000 per ton.
In global markets, the US indices increased sharply on Tuesday, with the major benchmarks seeing their biggest gain in a month. Furthermore, small caps had their greatest performance in over 18 months.
On July 19, the Nifty 50 rose for the third time in a row. On Tuesday, the Nifty 50 closed at 16340.55, up 0.38 per cent (62.05 points). Due to a shift in the trend of activity from Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), markets are seeing a nice relief bounce.
However, Nifty 50 futures are still battling near their 200-day EMA and a critical barrier of 16,600. On the downside, the 50-Day EMA would be a solid support level, followed by levels around 16,400.
