The BSE clarification on the steps to be taken to monitor excessive price movement in certain stocks with low volumes helped calm the nerves of investors. Several Penny stocks were locked in upper circuit and then eventually ended up locking themselves in lower circuit on Wednesday.
Prakash Steel is one such example. 3i Infotech was locked in the upper circuit in the morning session, only to witness some selling during the day. However the share price of 3i Infotech closed in green with gains of 0.12 per cent on closing basis.
