These Low-Priced stocks made a fresh 52-week high on Wednesday!
At 1 pm on Wednesday, frontline equity indices Sensex and Nifty 50 were seen trading at 56,728 and 16,886 levels, respectively. Sensex was up by 409 points, and Nifty rose over 115 points since the morning session.
The top 5 gainers of Nifty 50 were Bajaj Finance, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, Hindalco, and United Phosphorous Limited (UPL). The top 5 stocks pulling down the index were Power Grid Corporation Ltd, Wipro, SBI Life Insurance, Adani Ports, and Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
The BSE Midcap index is trading at 24,344, up by 1.26 per cent. The top 3 gainers of the index include GMR Infrastructure, ABB India, and Oberoi Realty. Each of these scrips was up by more than 5 per cent. The top 3 stocks dragging the index include Apollo Hospitals, GlaxoSmithKline, and Gillette India Industries.
The BSE Smallcap index is trading at 28,265, up by 1.42 per cent. The top 3 gainers are Share India Securities, Kitex Garments, and Vascon Engineers. Each of these stocks was up by almost 20 per cent. The top 3 stocks pulling the index down were Future Enterprises DVR, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra), and GTL Infrastructure.
All the sectoral indices on BSE are trading in the green, with the BSE Realty index being up by almost 3 per cent, followed by BSE Auto, BSE Metal, and BSE Capital Goods, which are up by almost 1.5 per cent.
