These 3 small-cap stocks gained over 5 per cent on the last trading session of the week!

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened at 3,768.35 and made its day high at 3,796.65, and it is currently trading in green with an up move by more than 0.80 per cent.     

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 5 per cent today.      

Shares of Finolex Cables Limited were trading up by more than 8.5 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Thursday at Rs 706.25 and opened on Friday at Rs 708.05 a piece. Shares touched their 52-week high today at Rs 777 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 777, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 344. Presently, the promoters are holding a 35.92 per cent stake in the company and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 28.32 per cent and 35.77 per cent, respectively.      

Another top player today is UCO Bank Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 6.5 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 26.13 a piece and touched its day high today at Rs 28.03. The 52-week high of UCO Bank Limited is at Rs 38.15, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 10.52. The promoters are holding around 95.39 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 1.42 per cent and 3.18 per cent, respectively.      

One more top gainer today which shot up by 6.5 per cent is Punjab & Sindh Bank. The stock opened at Rs 26.47 and touched its day high at Rs 29.12. On Thursday, the shares closed at Rs 26.44 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 44.65, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 12.50. Currently, the promoters are holding about 98.25 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 0.67 per cent and 1.08 per cent, respectively.
