These 3 BSE small-cap stocks zoomed over 6 per cent in a positive market; do you own any?

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened at 3,871.76, and made its day high at 3,870.46 and trading in green by more than 0.58 per cent.     

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 6 per cent today.      

Shares of Alok Industries Limited were trading up by more than 7.5 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Wednesday at Rs 11.83 and opened on Thursday at Rs 11.81 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 13.49 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 29.25, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 10.07. Presently, the promoters are holding around 75 per cent stake whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 2.42 per cent and 22.57 per cent, respectively.      

Another top player today is Raymond Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 6.5 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 1,623.90 a piece and touched its day high today at Rs 1,755.35. The 52-week high of Raymond Limited is at Rs 1,755.35, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 738.35. The promoters are holding around 49.15 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 21.82 per cent and 29.03 per cent, respectively.      

One more top gainer today which shot up by 7 per cent is Network 18 Media & Investments Limited. The stock opened at Rs 54.90 and touched its day high at Rs 62.51. On Wednesday, the shares closed at Rs 55.02 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 117.40, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 48.35. Currently, the promoters are holding about 75 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 6.20 per cent and 18.80 per cent, respectively.
