These 3 BSE Small-cap Stocks Outperformed the Benchmark Index Today!

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened at 4,761.65 and made its day high at 4,763.27 and it is closed in red, down by 0.42 per cent.
 

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 6 per cent today.


Shares of GMM Pfaulder Limited were trading up by more than 9.20 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Thursday at Rs 1,451.80 and opened on Friday at Rs 1,480.00 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 1,642.95 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 2,189.50 whereas the 52-week low is Rs 1,415.25. Presently, the promoters are holding around 38.74 per cent stake whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 29.59 per cent and 31.67 per cent, respectively.


Another top player today is Kalyan Jewellers India Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 11.50 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened today at Rs 181.55 a piece and touched its fresh 52-week high today at Rs 204.95. The 52-week high of the company is at Rs 204.95, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 69.35. Presently, the promoters are holding is 60.55% whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 32.26% and 7.20%, respectively.            


One more top gainer today which shot up by 7.41 per cent is Rhi Magnesita India Limited. The stock opened at Rs 673.00 and touched its day high at Rs 731.75. On Thursday, the shares closed at Rs 673.80 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 893.15 whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 514.05. Presently, the promoters are holding around 55.47 per cent stake whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 17.87 per cent and 26.67 per cent, respectively.
