These 3 BSE Small-cap stocks jumped by more than 5 per cent today!

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened at 4,476.51, and made its day high at 4,506.37 and trading in green by more than 0.60 per cent.     

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 5 per cent today.      

Shares of SJVN Limited were trading up by more than 7.30 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Wednesday at Rs 43.98 and opened on Thursday at Rs 44.20 a piece. Shares touched their 52-week high today at Rs 47.33 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 47.33 whereas the 52-week low is Rs 26.50. Presently, the promoters are holding around 86.77 per cent stake whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 5.81 per cent and 7.41 per cent, respectively.      

Another top player today is Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 7.20 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened today at Rs 1,527.95 a piece and touched its 52-week high today at Rs 1,697.00. The 52-week high of the company is at Rs 1,697.00, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 1,156.05. The institutional and non-institutional holdings are 79.65 per cent and 20.35 per cent, respectively.

One more top gainer today which shot up by 5.50 per cent is PNC Infratech Limited. The stock opened at Rs 338.15 and touched its 52-week high at Rs 367.90. On Wednesday, the shares closed at Rs 338.15 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 367.90, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 231.00. Currently, the promoters are holding about 56.07 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 38.91 per cent and 5.03 per cent, respectively.
