These 3 BSE small-cap stocks jumped by more than 4 per cent today!

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened at 3,951.54, and made its day high at 3,977.09 and trading in green by more than 0.34 per cent.       

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 4 per cent today.        

Shares of Engineers India Limited were trading up by more than 5.2 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Tuesday at Rs 82.62 and opened on Wednesday at Rs 81.51 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 87.70 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 90.75, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 55.95. Presently, the promoters are holding around 51.32 per cent stake whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 23.77 per cent and 24.90 per cent, respectively.        

Another top player today is Rail Vikas Nigam Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 7 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened today at Rs 123 a piece and touched its 52-week high today at Rs 130.20. The 52-week high of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited is at Rs 130.20, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 29. The promoters are holding around 78.20 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 8.04 per cent and 13.76 per cent, respectively.        

One more top gainer today which shot up by 4.5 per cent is Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited. The stock opened at Rs 162.80 and touched its day high at Rs 173.25. On Tuesday, the shares closed at Rs 162.80 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 179.70, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 114.65. Currently, the promoters are holding about 37.84 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 29.15 per cent and 33.01 per cent, respectively.
