TCS partners with Mesosphere to develop data intensive apps
IT major Tata Consultancy Services announced its partnership with Mesosphere to aid customers utilize data services and cloud platforms with more efficiency. Mesosphere is the creator of DC/OS and a leading platform for developing and running data-intensive and containerized applications.
Following the partnership, TCS will be developing frameworks for new data services to enhance Mesosphere’s existing DC/OS catalogue. Furthermore, TCS Cloud will be running DC/OS to provide a big data platform as a service leveraging SMACK stack. The framework will enable the customers of the two companies to drive digital initiatives with more efficiency, resulting in the enhancement of the customer’s return on investment.
The company also surpassed the benchmark market value of Rs. 6 trillion for the first time on Wednesday. The company is only a notch behind RIL’s market value of Rs. 6.11 trillion and is enthusiastically racing to become the first Indian company to hit a market cap of US$ 100 billion. The stock has surged by over 19.94 per cent on the bourses over the past one month.
However, in sync with the overall market sentiment, TCS traded in red during Thursday’s intraday trade. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3,181 per share and an intraday low of Rs. 3,107 per share, remaining below its previous close of Rs. 3,174.60 per share on BSE.
