Tata Group shares see steady long build-up

In the derivatives market, whenever share prices inch up along with the increasing open interest, it is considered bullish. We call it a long build-up.

Voltas is one share that belongs to Tata Group and is witnessing a steady long build-up. The stock is up by nearly 1.5 per cent in the morning session and the open interest has increased by 2.92 per cent. In the previous session, the stock witnessed price rise along with an increase in open interest.

Voltas has unperformed Sensex by approximately 1.3 per cent. In one year, the stock is up by nearly six per cent. The stock is trading higher than its short-term moving averages even as the stock has recorded gains in the past two days.

The other shares belonging to the Tata Group that witnessed long build up on Thursday are Tata Consumer, TCS, Titan, Tata Chemicals, and Tata Motors.
