The domestic indices ended the session significantly higher, propelled by robust gains in energy, oil & gas, telecommunications, metals, and capital goods stocks. The BSE Sensex soared 0.70 per cent to 71,683 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index climbed 0.75 per cent to a level of 21,622.

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd: Heavy buying interest led to the shares being locked at the 20 per cent upper circuit, reaching a new 52-week high of Rs 292.40 on the BSE. The company specializes in executing diverse rail infrastructure projects assigned by the Ministry of Railways, encompassing tasks such as doubling, gauge conversion, new lines, railway electrification, major bridges, and production units.
HP Adhesives Ltd: The shares experienced an 18-fold increase in trading volume, propelling them to surge by 20 per cent and reach a new 52-week high of Rs 117.45 on the BSE. The company specializes in the manufacturing of a diverse array of consumer adhesives and sealants, including PVC, cPVC, uPVC solvent cement, synthetic rubber adhesive, acrylic sealant, and PVC pipe lubricants.
Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd: The shares recorded an approximately 20 per cent rally, reaching a 52-week high of Rs 614 per share on the BSE. The company is a leading real estate developer in Gujarat, engaged in construction and real estate development in and around Ahmedabad.
