New Delhi Television Ltd, Spencers Retail Ltd and Panama Petrochem Ltd were among the top gainers on the BSE Smallcap index!
The domestic indices maintained their uptrend, reaching new all-time highs on the bourses, with Adani Group stocks attracting investors due to their robust uptrends. The BSE Sensex gained 0.63 per cent to 69,296 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index surged 0.81 per cent to a level of 20,855. Meanwhile, broader indices lagged behind the main indices. With 1,787 shares rising on the BSE and 1,969 shares declining, the advance-decline ratio remained in favour of declines.

New Delhi Television Ltd: Being the top gainer on the BSE Smallcap index, shares of the TV broadcasting company experienced a nine-fold surge in trading volume. Shares have surged approximately 19 per cent, reaching an intraday high of Rs 269 per share on the BSE.
Spencers Retail Ltd: The shares surged over 19 per cent to reach a 52-week high of Rs 91.80 per share on the BSE. However, they later experienced a notable decline, concluding the session with gains of 12.55 per cent. The company is a multi-format retailer offering a diverse range of quality products across categories such as food, personal care, fashion, home essentials, electrical, and electronics.
Panama Petrochem Ltd: The shares ended the session more than 11 per cent higher at Rs 347.95 per share on the BSE. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing and exporting various kinds of petroleum specialties.
