On Tuesday, domestic equity indices staged a decent recovery after yesterday’s fall. Headline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex closed in the green territory at 17,315.50 and 57,989.30 respectively, up by 1.16 per cent and 1.22 per cent.

Top gainers of the index include Ganesh Housing Corporation, NIIT, Chalet Hotels, Jindal Drilling and Industries, Mangalam Drugs and Organics, and Oriental Aromatics. Top losers comprise of Future Retail, Future Consumer, Future Lifestyle Fashions, Future Enterprises, SREI Infrastructure Finance and Dhanvarsha Finvest.
