The domestic equity barometers closed in red with a modest loss amid market volatility on September 6. S&P BSE Sensex declined 48 points to end the day at a level of 59,196.99. Likewise, Nifty 50 index dropped marginally by 10 points to close at 17,655.60.

Suzlon Energy: Suzlon Group today announced a new order win for the development of a 180.6 MW wind power project for Sembcorp’s renewables subsidiary Green Infra Wind Energy Limited. Almost 86 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with hybrid lattice tubular (HLT) towers with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW will be installed by Suzlon. The shares of Suzlon energy appreciated by almost 2 per cent to end the day at Rs 10.75 per share.
Rites Ltd: Rites Limited has secured a new business order for the appointment as General Engineering Consultant for Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project, Phase-11, as a lead member of the consortium for Rs 92.70 crore from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited. The share of Rites Limited in the order is 45 per cent. Its shares rose 0.05 per cent and closed at Rs 299.15 per share.
Blue Star: Blue Star won two new prestigious orders worth Rs 390 crore from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited for Reach-6 Pink Line, spanning from Kalena Agrahara to Nagawara. The shares of Blue Star closed at Rs 1,094.80 per share.
