Meanwhile, S&P BSE Smallcap index gained only 255.92 points to end at 29,056.74. The Top Gainers of the index include Fermenta Biotech, Suzlon energy, Dish TV, Vakrangee, and Jai Corp.

Reliance Power: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Reliance Power and Varde Partners for the use of debt up to Rs 1,200 crore (US$ 150 million) for settlement & discharge as well as the acquisition and restructuring of certain financial debts borrowed by RPL. The shares of Reliance Power were locked in the upper circuit, rising by 10 per cent and closing at a price of Rs 23.30 per share.
Skipper Limited: The company informed that it has received a brand-new order of Rs 225 crore for a number of domestic and international T&D projects, including telecom. The company's pipeline of bids is at its highest-ever level, with upwards of Rs 9,500 crore, and it anticipates a significant increase in the number of international orders during the current fiscal year. In the following two years, management projects that the proportion of international business in the order book will increase to 75 per cent. The share of Skipper Ltd rose over 17 per cent on September 5.
Aurionpro: An American subsidiary of Aurionpro, Aurionpro Fintech Inc., has announced the acquisition of Real Patient Solutions Inc. A new business called Hello Patients Solutions Inc (Hello Patients) was established in the US state of Delaware. In order to collect payments, Hello Patients offers a healthcare billing and patient management solution that makes use of Aurionpro's technology. Payment service providers in the USA can access a technological platform from Aurionpro Fintech Inc.
