The headline equity barometers ended with major cuts amid weak global cues. S&P BSE Sensex plunged 861.25 points or 1.46 per cent to 57,972.62 level. Nifty 50 index lost 246 points or 1.40 per cent to 17,312.90.

Sansera Engineering: Sansera received an order confirmation for three components from a marquee North American manufacturer of EV passenger cars. These are finely forged and machined parts intended for passenger cars. These orders have an approximate yearly value of Rs 5 crore (based on current forex rate). According to the North American manufacturer, bulk production of these parts would start in FY24, following successful trials. Earlier, the company was also awarded an order worth Rs 4.97 crore from the same customer. With the award of the new orders, the annual order book with this customer has crossed Rs 100 crore. The shares of Sansera Engineering zoomed more than 7 per cent to close at Rs 729.40 per share.
Sastasundar Ventures: The shares of Sastasundar Ventures were locked in the upper circuit on August 29. The share reached the value of Rs 348 per share. It traded at a 52-week low on August 22. In the last two trading sessions, its shares have jumped more than 20 per cent. The stock outperformed the peer constituents today while the sector surged more than 21 per cent.
Max India: The shares of Max India got locked in the upper circuit on August 29. The company’s shares closed at Rs 91.20 per share after gaining 20 per cent. The shares of Max India also touched a new 52-week high with a surge in the trading volume.
