The benchmark indices ended the volatile session with moderate gains on Tuesday. The barometer index, S&P BSE Sensex, jumped 257 points or 0.44 per cent to the 59,031.30 mark. Nifty 50 index also climbed 86 points or 0.50 per cent to 17,577.50 levels.

The Top Losers of the index comprise Devyani International, KBC Global, DB Corp, Rane Brake Linings, and Phoenix Mills.

RBL Bank: The bank's board today approved the raising of Rs 3,000 crore via debt securities. The shares of RBL Bank jumped nearly 6 per cent, reaching a price of Rs 104.10 per share.
Unichem Laboratories: The company announced that it has received ANDA approval for its Carbamazepine tablets USP, 200 mg from United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) to market a generic version of Tegretol (Carbamazepine) tablet, 200 mg of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. Carbamazepine tablets are indicated for use as an anticonvulsant drug and is in the treatment of the pain associated with true trigeminal neuralgia. The stock gained 5 per cent and closed at Rs 297 per share today.
TVS Electronics: The company is set to acquire the operations of GTID Solutions Development for Rs 2.25 crore. The shares of TVS Electronics surged 8 per cent and closed at Rs 273.40 per share in today’s trading session. It hit a new 52-week high as a surge in volume with rising prices was witnessed. The stock gained almost 15 per cent in just two trading sessions.
