Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

BSE Smallcap index dropped 1.17 per cent to end at 27,844.73.

The key equity barometers continued to trade with major losses on the first day of the week. The barometer index, S&P BSE Sensex, tumbled 872.28 points or 1.46 per cent to the 59,773.87 mark. Nifty 50 index also toppled 267.75 points or 1.51 per cent to the 17,490.70 level.  

BSE Smallcap index dropped 1.17 per cent to end at 27,844.73. The Top Gainers of the index include Seamec, DB Corp, Suzlon Energy, ELGI Equipments, and S Chand & Company. The Top Losers of the index comprise Navkar Corporation, Everest Kanto Cylinder, Transport Corporation of India, Alembic, and Kesoram Industries.  

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday, August 23, 2022:  

Dredging Corporation of India- The company was awarded annual maintenance & sand trap dredging contract worth Rs 57 crore for four major ports namely Visakhapatnam, Paradip, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Deendayal. The shares of Dredging Corporation were trading at Rs 277.30 per share today.  

KSB Limited- As sales increased by 26.5 per cent in the first quarter of the year, KSB's shares increased by 2.37 per cent. Approximately Rs 500 crore worth of primary coolant pumps, electric motors, and spare parts were ordered by the company from NPCIL. The shares of KSB closed at Rs 1,820 per share at the end of today’s session.  

Greenply Industries- The company announced today that Renew Green (GJ Four) Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) supported by Renew Green Energy Solutions Private Limited, and its wholly-owned subsidiary - Baahu Panels Private Ltd, had signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) as well as shareholders agreement (SHA) for a combined SMW capacity (RGS). In the SPV, Greenply Industries Ltd will own a 3.12 per cent share and Baahu Panels, a stake of 28.08 per cent.
