On Friday, Indian equity markets ended on a strong note. Nifty 50 and Sensex climbed 0.71 per cent and 0.88 per cent to end at 17,659 and 59,332.6, respectively.
BSE Smallcap index advanced 0.52 per cent to end at 27,798.02. Top Gainers of the index include Kilpest India, Wonderla Holidays, TVG Sraac, Oricon Enterprises and Gayatri Projects. The Top Losers of the index comprise Axtel Industries, Manaksia, Man Industries and Apar Industries.

BEML - The company has announced that the board meeting of the company will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022. This meeting is intended to fix the record date for striking the list of eligible shareholders for considering the 1:1 issue of shares by BEML Land Assets Limited. This is following the demerger approved by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, followed by board meeting of BEML Land Assets Limited for taking on record the said record date as fixed by the board of BEML Limited.
Suzlon Energy - The company reported impressive results for the Q1FY23. Revenue came in at Rs 1,378 crores in Q1 FY23, exhibiting a Y-o-Y growth of 21 per cent. EBITDA stood at Rs 214 crores in Q1FY23, while EBITDA margin was recorded at 15.6 per cent.
