Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Beardsell, Ram Ratna Wires, Vedant Fashions, Seshasayee Paper and Boards, JK Paper, Dynamic Cables, Kshitij Polyline, International Constructions, Maharashtra Seamless, Shivam Autotech and Elgi Equipments.

On Tuesday, Indian equity markets closed on a flat note. Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the session at 17,345.4 and 58,136.3 respectively, in the green territory, up by mere ~0.04 per cent each.

BSE Smallcap index outperformed broader markets to close at 27,549.73, up by 0.34 per cent. Top Gainers of the index include GFL, Panacea Biotech, GMM Pfaudler, SpiceJet, Indigo Paints, Nazara Technologies, Venkys (India) and MTAR Technologies. Top Losers comprise Data Patterns, Rategain Travel Technologies. Renaissance and Prozone Intu Properties.

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, August 3, 2022:     

SpiceJet - The company has entered into a full and final settlement with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and has cleared all outstanding principal dues of the airport operator. In another big boost for the airline, AAI will release SpiceJet’s Rs 50 crore bank guarantee following the airline clearing all its principal dues. This will result in additional liquidity for the airline.

Sterlite Technologies - The company is breaking new ground in 5G technology with homegrown optical connectivity solutions. Continuing the momentum, they have launched a suite of compatible optical connectivity products to boost 5G readiness in India comprising a range of optical fibre and cables and interconnect solutions. 

Prakash Industries - During the June quarter, the company achieved net sales of Rs 895 crore and an EBITDA of Rs 103 crore. Profit after tax for the quarter stood at Rs 43 crore. Despite all these multiple headwinds faced by the steel industry, the company was able to deliver a strong performance. The EBITDA margin grew from around 9.6 per cent to 11.4 per cent (YoY) largely due to lower coal costs as the supplies of long-term coal linkages from Coal India which started during this quarter.

52-week high stocks – Beardsell, Ram Ratna Wires, Vedant Fashions, Seshasayee Paper and Boards, JK Paper, Dynamic Cables, Kshitij Polyline, International Constructions, Maharashtra Seamless, Shivam Autotech and Elgi Equipments made a fresh 52-week high today.
