Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Campus Activewear, Dangee Dums, Pradeep Phosphates, Akshar Spintex, International Constructions, Kshitij Polyline, Priti International, E2E Networks, Kritika Wires and Kirloskar Electric made a fresh 52-week high today

On Thursday, Indian equity markets continued its upward trend.Nifty 50 and Sensex recorded gains of 1.73 per cent and 1.87 per cent to end the session on a strong note at 16,929.6 and 56,857.7.

BSE Smallcap index relatively unperformed broader markets by climbing only 0.65 per cent to end at 26,689.31. Top Gainers of the index include Novartis India, Indiabulls Housing Finance, IFB Industries, Prozone Intu Properties, GE T&D India, Metro Brands and Khadim India. Top Losers comprise Techno Electric & Engineering,Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores, Skipper, VIP Industries and Automotive Axles.

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, July 29, 2022:    

Novartis India - The company put a smile on investors' faces by reporting stellar earnings for Q1FY23. It posted a net profit of Rs 52.38 crore in the June quarter against a net loss of Rs 23.37 crore for the period ended March 31, 2022. 

KEC International - The company has secured new orders of Rs 1,233 crore across its various businesses including transmission and distribution, civil, oil and gas pipelines and cables. To quote Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International from a filing with the exchange, “Our civil business continues to strengthen and diversify its presence in the industrial segment with the addition of a very reputed client. We are also encouraged by the order in the oil and gas Pipelines, which further enhances the business’ order book.”

CMS Info Systems - The company reported healthy financials for Q1FY23. Operating margin expanded by 450 bps YoY to 27.3 per cent in Q1 propelling the company to deliver the highest ever quarterly EBITDA and PAT. The benefits of operating leverage and a higher share of technology solutions have helped them expand margins and grow PAT by 47 per cent YoY despite inflation headwinds.

52-week high stocks – Campus Activewear, Dangee Dums, Pradeep Phosphates, Akshar Spintex, International Constructions, Kshitij Polyline, Priti International, E2E Networks, Kritika Wires and Kirloskar Electric made a fresh 52-week high today.
