On Wednesday, Indian equity markets snapped its losing streak to close in the green territory. Nifty 50 and Sensex climbed 0.99 per cent each to end at 16,641.8 and 55,816.3, respectively.
BSE Smallcap index surged 0.38 per cent to end the session at 26,517.8. Top Gainers of the index include MTNL, Gujarat Themis Biosyn, Diamines and Chemicals, Gayatri Projects, GFL and Kokuyo Camlin. Top Losers comprise Techno Electric and Engineering, Tanla Platforms, Thirumalai Chemicals, Route Mobile and Mahindra EPS Irrigation.

Laurus Labs - The company reported robust financials for Q1FY23. Revenue stood at Rs 1,539 crore, up 20 per cent on a YoY basis. EBITDA came at Rs 454 crore with consistent EBITDA margins of 29.5 per cent as a better mix offset depressed pricing in the ARV business. Net profit came in at Rs 251 crore, while PAT margin was recorded at 16.3 per cent.
BigBloc Construction - Total income for the quarter ended June 2022 was at Rs 31.44 crore, higher by 72 per cent over the corresponding quarter last year. PAT for Q1FY23 increased to Rs 3.52 crore over the corresponding quarter last year’s PAT of Rs 0.41 crore. The earnings per share increased to Rs 0.50 per share.
Genesys International - The company announced a partnership with Google, enabling the launch of Google Street View across the country and assisting in the advancement of the Indian mapping revolution.
