Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Sharda Cropchem, Kohinoor Foods, Coromandel International, Akshar Spintex, Priti International, Madhya Bharat Agro Products, De Nora India, and Apcotex Industries made a fresh 52-week high today.   

On Tuesday, Indian equity markets extended yesterday’s losses to close the session with negative developments. Nifty and Sensex slipped 0.55 per cent and 0.43 per cent to end at 16,125.20 and 54,052.61 respectively.  

BSE Smallcap index underperformed broader markets by closing at 25,883.85 with losses of 1.14 per cent. Top Gainers of the index include Dhanvarsha Finvest, Shilpa Medicare, Camline Fine Sciences, Repro India, Bhagiradha Chemical & Industries and Hikal. Top Losers comprise Techno Electric & Engineering, Rupa & Company, Tamil Nadu Petro Products, Thomas Cook (India) and Equitas Small Finance Bank. 

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, May 25, 2022:   

PG Electroplast - PG Technoplast, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary and one of India’s leading AC manufacturing service providers, has collaborated with Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) to invest Rs 315 crore for creating the state’s largest room AC manufacturing capacities as a part of the ‘Magnetic Maharashtra’ initiative.    

NBCC (India) – The company has been awarded the work of planning, designing & executing various infrastructure development works under Puducherry Smart City Development Limited (PSCDL) as a project management consultant, at a total cost of Rs 313.80 crore.     

MIC Electronics – The company has announced that it will be revitalising its existing business lines in the current fiscal, with the objective of comprehensively reviving and fortifying its ongoing business operations. Among the key verticals that the company will be thus looking to scale include LED display boards, railways PIS, displays, etc. Simultaneously, the company also plans to enter the EV-enabling space in India in a very aggressive way, in line with its strategy of growing the business efficiently through diversification.      

52-week high stocks – Sharda Cropchem, Kohinoor Foods, Coromandel International, Akshar Spintex, Priti International, Madhya Bharat Agro Products, De Nora India, and Apcotex Industries made a fresh 52-week high today.
