Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Commercial Engineers & Body Builders, Apcotex Industries, De Nora India, Akshar Spintex, Lancer Container Lines, Priti International, Kohinoor Foods, Shanthi Gear, BLS International Services, Choice International, Esab India, Megastar Foods, Mukand Engineers and Nava Bharat Ventures made a fresh 52-week high today

On Monday, domestic equity markets started the week on a weak note. Frontline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex closed in the red territory at 16,189.80 and 54,215.89; down by 0.47 per cent and 0.20 per cent respectively.  

BSE Smallcap index underperformed broader markets, recording losses of 0.73 per cent to close at 26,158.79. Top Gainers of the index include Sterling Tools, Sequent Scientific, Career Point, Nilkamal, VRL Logistics and Apcotex Industries. Top Losers comprise Techno Electric & Engineering, Sarda Energy & Minerals, Godawari Power & Ispat, Jindal Stainless and Sandhur Managnese & Iron Ores.  

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday, May 24, 2022: 

Sterlite Technologies – The company has announced that it will test its programmable FTTx (pFTTx) software solution with Netomnia for their live networks in the United Kingdom. The company recently announced general availability for pFTTx, a software-defined, open, and disaggregated Passive Optical Network (PON) solution that is intended to make fibre networks intelligent and agile.

DJ Mediaprint & Logistics – The company is empanelled with LIC of India, Bardhaman Divisional Office for advertisement and publicity work.

Mindteck (India) – The firm reported its audited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2022. The company’s standalone revenue for the year ended March 31, 2022, was Rs 114.25 crore, as against Rs 103.98 crore for the previous year ended March 31, 2021. Standalone net profit for the year ended March 31, 2022, stood at Rs 10.98 crore as compared to a profit of Rs 8.53 crore for the previous year ended March 31, 2021. 

52-week high stocks – Commercial Engineers & Body Builders, Apcotex Industries, De Nora India, Akshar Spintex, Lancer Container Lines, Priti International, Kohinoor Foods, Shanthi Gear, BLS International Services, Choice International, Esab India, Megastar Foods, Mukand Engineers and Nava Bharat Ventures made a fresh 52-week high today.
