On Tuesday, Indian equity staged a healthy recovery after the dramatic losses registered last week. Nifty and Sensex ended at 16,259.30 and 54,318.47 respectively, up by ~2.6 per cent each.
BSE Smallcap index climbed 2.78 per cent to close at 54,318.47. Top Gainers of the index include Datamatics Global Services, Uttam Sugar Mills, Affle India, Honda India Power Products, Filatex India and Bajaj Electricals. Top Losers comprise Techno Electric and Engineering, Cigniti Technologies, Steel Exchange India, Birla Tyres, Rategain Travel and Future Retail.

PG Electroplast – PG Technoplast, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company has announced the formal inauguration of its flagship AC manufacturing facility in Supa, Ahmednagar. The factory began commercial production earlier this year in January and is the first greenfield facility to come online under the PLI scheme for AC components. The facility is manufacturing all kinds of split ACs ranging from 0.75T to 2.0T with installed annual capacities of 1.5 million IDUs and 1 million ODUs.
Datamatics Global Services – The company has announced that it has signed a contract for the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning & comprehensive annual maintenance of the EMV-based open loop automatic fare collection (AFC) system for Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor of National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). NCRTC issued the letter of acceptance (LoA) to Datamatics in January 2022.
KEC International – The company has secured new orders of Rs 1,147 crore across its various businesses.
Ion Exchange (India) – The company has incorporated a subsidiary company namely, IEI Total Water Management, LDA in Portugal.
