Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Avro India, Kohinoor Foods, Vaxtex Cotfab, Madhya Bharat Agro Products, Madhya Bharat Agro Products, Madhya Bharat Agro Products, and Kritika Wires made a fresh 52-week high today.

On Wednesday, Indian equity markets witnessed a choppy trading session. Nifty 50 and Sensex ended in the red territory at 16,167.10 and 54,088.39 respectively; recording losses of ~0.50 per cent each. 

BSE Smallcap index was attacked by bears and plunged 2.23 per cent to close at 25,495.92. Top Gainers of the index include TD Power Systems, Kalyan Jewellers, Gujarat Ambuja Exports, VIP Industries and Elecon Engineering. Top Losers comprise Indiabulls Housing Finance, Dishman Carbogen Amcis, Welspun India and Oriental Aromatics. 


The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Thursday, May 12, 2022:  

Vikas Ecotech - The consumer products division of the company has confirmed receipt of orders for the infrastructural product business segment valued at about Rs 20 crore. These fresh orders, for the supplies of infrastructural steel, will be executed within the Q1 of FY 2022-23. In addition to this, the company is expecting more orders for the ongoing construction projects, which have gained pace after the Uttar Pradesh elections. These orders will give considerable leverage to the top line and riding on this success, the company will be exceeding the business projections for Q1FY23.  

Gensol Engineering - The company has informed the exchange that in the months of April and May 2022, it received purchase orders from reputed clients for the development of solar power projects, aggregating to a capacity of around 15 MWp in the states of Goa, Gujarat, and Punjab. The cumulative order value of these projects is pegged at over Rs 37.50 crore, exclusive of taxes. Out of the total ordered capacity, only 500 kWp is rooftop solar project while all other projects will be installed on the ground for captive use of the clients.  

Texmaco Rail & Engineering - The company has received an order for 20,067 wagons valuing approximately Rs 6,450 crore to be executed over a period of thirty-nine months against the recent railway tender for wagons issued by the Indian Railways.  

52-week high stocks – Avro India, Kohinoor Foods, Vaxtex Cotfab, Madhya Bharat Agro Products, Madhya Bharat Agro Products, Madhya Bharat Agro Products, and Kritika Wires made a fresh 52-week high today.
