Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Manaksia, InfoBeans Technologies, Veranda Learning Solutions, Agro Phos India, BLS International Services, CreditAccess Grameen, Cupid, Shoppers Stop, Manaksia Steels, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, Rajratan Global Wire, Dev Information Technology, Brand Concepts, and Hardwyn India made a fresh 52-week high today.

On Thursday, the domestic equity markets closed on a strong note, driven by well-fed bulls. Nifty and Sensex climbed approximately 1.23 per cent each to end the session at 17,245 & 57,521.06, respectively.     

BSE Smallcap index underperformed the broader markets, closing in the green territory at 28,778.04, up by 0.12 per cent. The Top Gainers of the index include Manaksia Ltd, Grauer & Weil India Ltd, Cybertech Systems & Software Ltd, and JM Financial. The Top Losers comprise Techno Electric & Engineering, KBC Global, Network 18 Media & Investment, and TV18 Broadcast.     

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, April 29, 2022:    

Jubilant Ingrevia – The company has announced the commissioning of its new Green Ethanol-based food-grade acetic acid plant at its manufacturing facility in Gajraula (Uttar Pradesh). The plant is designed to meet the highest standards of product certifications like FSSAI, ISO 22000, Kosher, Halal, FCC Codex, etc. It will cater to the increasing demand in the food preservative segment across the globe.  

Sansera Engineering – The company has been awarded a contract for the development, manufacturing, and supply of connecting rods from a leading North American OEM for its upcoming project. The start of production would be from July 2025 and is expected to run over seven years. The approximate quantity for the contract is over 35 million, connecting rods with estimated revenue of over USD 400 million (i.e. Rs 3,066 crore). 

Capacite Infraprojects – The company has received contracts worth Rs 826.49 crore (excluding GST) from marquee public as well as private sector clients. In an exchange filing, Managing Director Rahul Katyal stated, “These new orders will help us to further consolidate our position in high growth businesses. Amidst a challenging environment, these new orders also support us to diversify our clientele, generate additional business from existing marquee clients, and appropriately manage commodity risk through pass-through clauses.”  

52-week high stocks – Manaksia, InfoBeans Technologies, Veranda Learning Solutions, Agro Phos India, BLS International Services, CreditAccess Grameen, Cupid, Shoppers Stop, Manaksia Steels, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, Rajratan Global Wire, Dev Information Technology, Brand Concepts, and Hardwyn India made a fresh 52-week high today.
