Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Lokesh Machines, Deep Energy Resources, Sharda Cropchem, Andhra Sugars, Shaily Engineering Plastics, Swan Energy, Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries, Uflex, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, and Siyaram Silk Mills made a fresh 52-week high today

On Wednesday, Indian equity markets continued their losing streak for the second straight day in a row. Benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex closed in the red territory at 17,807.70 and 59,610.41; recording losses of 0.83 per cent and 0.94 per cent respectively.

BSE Smallcap index outperformed broader markets, ending in the green territory at 29,695.94, up by 0.38 per cent. Top Gainers of the index include OnMobile Global, Vaibhav Global, IOL Chemicals, South Indian Bank and MMTC. Top losers comprise of KBC Global, SML Isuzu, Barbeque-Nation Hospitality, Max Healthcare Institute and Technocraft Industries (India).  

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Thursday, April 7, 2022:    

Suprajit Engineering – The company recently announced that it has successfully concluded the acquisition of a light-duty cable (LDC) business unit from Kongsberg Automotive ASA (i.e. Kongsberg Automotive). The LDC business unit of Kongsberg Automotive, supplying automotive, non-automotive, and two-wheeler segments along with electro-mechanical actuators (EMA) is now part of Suprajit Group. All four LDC-related entities are now wholly-owned step-down subsidiaries of Suprajit through Suprajit USA, Inc.  

Vipul Organics – The company informed the exchange that it has successfully received the OEKO-TEX certification for its pigment products under the brand name SunPrint for the textile industry. This will open up opportunities for the company to work with global textiles and garments companies, which are committed to upholding a sustainable ecosystem.    

Hind Rectifiers – The company has secured orders worth Rs 73.39 crore in the month of March 2022.    

52-week high stocks – Lokesh Machines, Deep Energy Resources, Sharda Cropchem, Andhra Sugars, Shaily Engineering Plastics, Swan Energy, Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries, Uflex, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, and Siyaram Silk Mills made a fresh 52-week high today.
