Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Madras Fertilizers, Himadri Speciality Chemical, Shyam Century Ferrous, Indo Borax & Chemicals, Shivalik Bimetal Controls, Mahindra Lifespace Developers, KPI Global Infrastructure, Intellect Design Arena, Linde India, Suven Pharmaceuticals and Swelect Energy Systems made a fresh 52-week high today.   

On Tuesday, the Indian equity markets extended Monday’s winning streak, despite a relatively volatile session. The benchmark indices i.e. Nifty 50 and Sensex registered gains of approximately 0.61 per cent each, ending the session at 17,325 & 57,943.65 respectively. 

BSE Smallcap index also closed in the green territory i.e. at the 27,827.35 level, up by 0.63 per cent. The top gainers of the index include Dhanvarsha Finvest, Mukand, Religare Enterprises and Himadri Speciality Chemical. The top losers comprised Future Consumer, Future Supply Chain Solutions, Lasa Supergenerics, GFL, and Munjal Auto Industries.  

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, March 30, 2022:    

Dwarikesh Sugar Industries – The company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 2 per share for the financial year 2021-22. It had announced a full and final dividend of Rs 1.25 per share for the previous financial year. Also, the company is presently engaged in executing a 175 KLPD distillery project at its Dwarikesh Dham (DD) unit, which is expected to commence operations by the end of the first quarter of the next financial year.    

PNC Infratech – The company informed the exchange that it has recently been declared as the L1 (i.e. lowest) bidder for an NHAI project for the construction of a six-lane access controlled greenfield highway, MIVKN Border (Badadat) to Maradgi S Andola section of NH - 150C on hybrid annuity model. The project will be constructed in 30 months and operated for 15 years post-construction. The bid project cost stands at Rs 1,575 crore.    

Deep Industries – The company has received a letter of award from the prestigious Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for hiring gas compression services for a period of three years. The total estimated value of the award is approximately Rs 71.97 crore.    

Goldiam International – The company announced that it has received additional export orders from its international clients for manufacturing diamond-studded gold and larger carat lab-grown diamonds jewellery worth Rs 60 crore.     

In the exchange filing, the company said, “The aforesaid larger carat lab-grown diamonds will be utilised from in-house diamond growing subsidiary - Eco-Friendly Diamonds LLP, which gives full backward integration to further enhance profit margin of the company.”
